In summer 2020 (64-bit) version 78 - PGP ENCRYPTION will be natively added. Hi, I have been using Thunderbird portable 32-bit from (now version 68.6.0) for many years. Thunderbird 78 will no longer to support the APIs that Enigmail requires and only allow new "WebExtensions" Thunderbird will transition to a dual mode app with both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions, just like Firefox Portable is, for maximum compatibility, functionality, and performance. Will you publish a portable 78.x W10 PGP Thunderbird + upgrade (69.x 32bit portable - 78.x portable version) ? They can be somewhere else if you have moved the location of your OS's 'user data', used the Profile Manager to put the profile elsewhere, or stored mail folders outside of the Thunderbird profile - which can even be a file share on a different computer. You included the answer to your question that I posted in your question post. By default the files are stored in a Thunderbird profile on your PC. When (roughly estimated) will the portable version of 69.x allow upgrades to v.78.x +? Mozilla has v.78 beta (not portable, integrated PGP encryption for the first time - yes). Will the Thunderbird dual mode app make Mozilla or just for the portable version? When (roughly estimated) will the portable version of 69.x.
